December 1, 2010Shackle is presenting a compact version of the Converging Objects workshop at KMT / HKU in HilversumShackle is Anne LaBerge on flute and electronics and Robert van Heumen on laptop. Their aim is to explicity and subtly exploit shackling in both concept and material.Their performance is guided by a network system that proposes compositional paths to the players. Both players have the choice to cooperate with the system or to make suggestions. Their work is the result of an ongoing exploration of restrictions, both sonically and conceptually.
