concept & choreography: Anouk van Dijk / dancers: Michael Jahoda, Nina Wollny / music: Robert van Heumen / light design: Isabel Nielen (1st installment) / Maarten van Rossum (further installments)
STAU is a large scale production for 2 dancers and 28 extra's, made for site-specific locations. It deals with the subject of proximity between people, both emotionally and physically, using spaces which differ from xxs to xxl. The closeness or distance between performers and audience is an integral part of this concept. The presentations on 12, 13 and 14 February show the results of the first research phase of this performance. Due to the location of the presentation a limited amount of audience can be admitted; therefore preferably make reservations on +31 (0)20 4121083 or anoukvandijk@worldmail.nl. view images from the Dok performances. The installments in Moscow and Basel will feature local dancers (28 in Moscow, 14 in basel). The installments in Amsterdam (Frascati) and Poznan will feature Daniela Graca and Michael Schumacher. playlist 2004 February 11 Amsterdam, Studio Dok, 20.30 h. 12 Amsterdam, Studio Dok, 20.30 h. 13 Amsterdam, Studio Dok, 20.30 h. 14 Amsterdam, Studio Dok, 20.30 h.
